What To Sell

One of the most important parts of consigning is understanding what to sell. Sending in the right pairs can be the difference between you're money being tied up for weeks or months, so it's important to make an educated decision.

Overall Nike Dunks, Jordan 1’s & 4’s, Yeezy 350’s, Slides, Foams and Essentials Clothing are best movers in stores. Sending in newer and hyped releases will also yield the fastest sales. Optimal sizing includes 8-14M for mens color ways, 7W-9.5W for women's color ways, 5Y-7Y for grade school (GS) color ways, 1Y-3Y for preschool color ways, and S M L for clothing. Note that more common shoe sizes will sell faster than big/small ones, however they are also likely to have more competition.

• Typically white-based dunks such as Pandas, Olives, and Rose Whispers move the best. SB dunks also tend to do well, but move a little slower. Depending on the store you're consigning with and what pairs, you should look for payouts between $ 30-70 over StockX lowest ask for general release (GR) Dunks. As far as SBs go, we can look for $80-200 over StockX ask.

• Jordan 1’s Highs tend to move best in but Lows can also be okay. 1’s tend to do better in colorways such as UNC Toe, Chicago, and other popular colors. It's best to aim for a payout between $240-280 for average color ways, pairs that are extremely hype such as L&F can get $100-200 over StockX ask.

• Jordan 4’s seem to move in just about any color way. Ideally we're looking for a payout of $260-300 for your average 4’s like Red Cements and Crafts, pairs such as Military Blacks and Black Cats can get $100-250 over StockX ask.

• Yeezy 350’s have sold pretty consistently. Color ways such as Onyx, Bone, Pirate black and other clean color ways are ideal. Aim for a payout of $30-80 over StockX ask.

• Yeezy Slides tend to be a seasonal shoe so you'll find that the majority of your sales for these are in late spring through summer. These move well in just about any color way but the best seem to be Slate, Onyx, and Bone. Aim for payouts of $30-80 over StockX ask.

• Foams Runners tend to be seasonal just like slides, again almost any color way sells great in these. Typically look for payouts of $50-100 over StockX ask.

• Every single type of clothing from essentials tends to sell well in consignment stores, particularly tees, crewnecks, and hoodies. For tees look for a payout between $60-100, crewnecks look for a payout between $80-120, and for hoodies look for a payout of $100-140

Make sure to send in a variety of the items listed above. You will see the largest number of sales and most consistency in sales whenever you have different kinds, colors, and sizes of shoes and clothing listed in the store. Regardless of what the customer is looking for, you always want to have something they are interested in. In order to see the best results, you should have anywhere from 20-100 pairs in a store at a time.
